Forest Pack 7 Modern Home Scene

I recently purchased Forest pack 7 from Itoo Software. Forest Pack is the world’s most popular scattering plugin for 3ds Max. It provides a complete solution for creating vast areas of objects, from trees and plants to buildings, crowds, aggregates, ground-cover, rocks and more. If you can model it, Forest Pack can scatter it.

I wanted to try out a few of their tutorials as well as getting up to speed with V-Ray and it’s improved Sun and Sky. This kind of turned into an arch-viz project but it was never meant to be.

However while setting up trees and grass I felt it needed a nice modern house with a lot of glass for reflections, this is a purchased model.

Forest pack is really easy to use, takes a bit to get up to speed but I have used older versions so had a head start.

The grass and trees are great and there are many options that come with the software and you can add from other libraries to increase your variety. I ended up trying out a night scene to see how V-Ray handled this and of course it’s excellent.

Looking forward to my next project where I’ll use Forest Pack and V-Ray extensively.
