Eilean Donan Castle

For this design I wanted to have a dark Scottish Highlands feel, with the mist rolling down the mountains. The castle is an image of Eilean Donan Castle (the one seen in Highlander) with the bridge area removed. I’m not sure that I succeeded in capturing the look I wanted but this was one of the designs that I had to leave and move on from.
