Summer Afternoon

Created in Vue with slight post work for sharpening, color correction etc. This was almost a revisit of my Summer Church piece but not on purpose. I wanted to create a nice river and countryside scene with a bit more realism, inspired by Dax Phandi’s Book.

I had been working on a different look to the Flying Scotsman designs and realized that if I removed the train and fences, added a river then I could have a whole new scene. So the Scotsman is currently next as far as a new scene is concerned but I enjoyed creating this Summer piece.

It’s September here in Florida so we’re still seeing highs in the 90’s but I think I may try some more Winter scenes soon, the heat doesn’t make you feel like Winter designs but somehow I’ll manage. All elements are from Cornucopia apart from the ducks and nearest reeds.
